Junko Kobayashi (President)

Ms. Junko Kobayashi has a background in public accounting and a number of years in the private sector.  She was Chief Financial Officer, from 2001 through 2010, of POW! Entertainment, Inc. a public company in the business of creating and licensing intellectual property for the entertainment business, including feature films, live action animation projects, television programming, video games, and merchandising.

Prior to joining POW! Entertainment, she was controller of Stan Lee Media, Inc. where she was in charge of preparing financial information for SEC purposes and implemented a new accounting system to accommodate the need for detailed financial reporting for management. 

In the public accounting arena, she was a senior auditor in charge for BDO Seidman, the public accounting firm located in Los Angeles.  Starting in Canada in public accounting 17 years ago, she has been involved in many areas of accounting and finance for public and private companies in various industries and non-profit organizations. She has in-depth experience in human resource development and computer technology integration.

Ms. Kobayashi has, over the years been involved in many roles for a number of non-profit organizations and has volunteered for community services and events.

She has held such roles as leading the youth program for the Pan American Nikkei Association over a four day period, held in Vancouver, Canada that included participants from Canada, US, Mexico and delegates from South America with over 200 youth attendees out of 800 total delegates.
